Why the Veil in Islam?

Esteemed scholars and philosophers of both the East and the West, respected individuals of integrity and virtue, dedicated seekers of truth and happiness, consider the state of humanity in our times. Do you not see its degeneration, its descent into misfortune and misery? Are you not aware of its deprivation of happiness and the resulting sorrow?

The pursuit of happiness seems elusive; homes are filled with melancholy, and human minds are overwhelmed by despair. In these challenging times, many have succumbed to a relentless consumption of "repugnant" medications in search of lost joy, only to experience a rise in anxiety leading to discontent, troubles, addiction, and even despair.

The desires embedded within the human spirit evoke a significant question: is there not a reasonable means to conduct ourselves honorably in order to rediscover inner happiness rather than succumbing to complaints?

This universe operates under a strict and predetermined order, from which we draw our existence. Should we not reflect deeply on the signs of this universe and the greatness of its Creator who established it? Everything within this cosmos functions for our benefit; is it not evident that the sun, moon, rivers, clouds, trees, insects, and crops all serve us under a meticulously defined structure?

Must we squander our desires erratically in pursuit of fleeting pleasures that ignite turmoil within us? The Creator who designed and organized the universe has also endowed us with the means to master our desires and impulses. Shall we not then strive towards an enlightened understanding that guides us towards true fulfillment?
